UNFIT RETURNED MEN

Discharge From The Forces The undertaking given some time ago that men who had served overaeas and were unlikely to .become fit again for active service would bo discharged from the forces to the reserve is covered by an amendment to the National Service Emergency Regulations gazetted last night. In tho past the 'Adjutant-General has had authority to discharge only those returned soldiers who were graded as permanently unlit. The amendment gives him power to grant discharges to men who have served overseas in the present war. and who have been returned to New Zealand and are unlikely to become fit for further active service. This will have the effect of facilitating the rehabilitation of such men. ■
