Wellington, yesterday on 12 charges of theft, including 11 thefts from Woolworths ( N.Z.) Lid. Albert William Gregory, molm- ilriver aged 2G. had admilled stealing Iroin Woolworths on various dales in August, Seplembcr October atid November table cloths, shii-ts. socks, tea towels, womens stockings, tennis shoes, bathing suits ami bottles of skill emollient of a total '’ ! *lue of £7B, .and of stealing from tile Wellington Harbour Board Iwo bolts of material valued at £35. , Gregory was sentenced l<> six months imprisonment for lhe theft from the. liarI our board and to three months lor of the thefts from Woolworths, the terms to be eumultilive. On the other charges lie w:is convicted mid discharged.
