WASH ING I ON, January 19. A Navy Depart nieiit communique says Hint United Stales submarines have reported the following result of operations against the enemy in Hie Pacific mid Fm- Fast. One destroyer, one large cargo ship, one medium-sized transport, one nied-iiini-sized cargo ship, and one small patrol vessel haVe been sunk. One large tanker mid one small cargo ship have been ilmnaged.
