TRAINING FOR E.P.S. PERSONNEL
Two Hours A Week?
LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY
REPORT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 20.
Information that E.P.S. personnel will be required to do two hours’ training weekly has been received by the New Zealand Council of the Royal Life Saving Society, from the director of E.P.S. training, Mr. K. L. Usniar, through Mr. A. Gardner, Auckland, vice-president of the society. This information was given by the secretary of the council, Mr. J. Brewaril, who said he considered it official, though it had not come directly to the council.
When inquiries were made at the offices of the regional commissioner and the district controller, a reporter was informed that nothing was known of compulsory two hours’ training weekly.
