A NURSE’S LIFE
Schoolgirls Visit Hospital At the* Wellington Public Hospital on Saturday afternoon a party of Hutt Vailey schoolgirls, from Lower Hutt High, Sacred Heart and Chilton St. James Schools, were shown some of the more interesting departments and a few of the newer 1 wards. They were later entertained in the nurses’ home at afternoon tea, followed by a short. talk and a musical programme. Judging by the keen interest exhibited in the hospital and the enjoyment of the lighter side of a nurse’s life, such afternoons may readily turn the attention of many to nursing as a career and the rest will leave an impression of modern hospital life which will be of inestimable value when the rights of citizenship are acquired .
