LAND SETTLEMENT

N.Z.R.S.A. Representation Representation on the Land Settlement Board, which is to deal with the settlement of discharged servicemen from the present war under the Small Fanns Act, has been granted to the association by an amendment to the Statutes Amendment Act. 1041. This was reported to the last meeting of the r Dominion executive committee of the N.Z.R.S.A. Mr. B. J. Jacobs, Dominion vice-presi-dent’-of the N.Z.R.S.A. was selected as the association’s nominee. I'leasure was expressed that this privvilege had been made available but. it was stressed that the N.Z.R.S.A. still maintained that the Small Farms Act did not provide Ihe most satisfactory legislation for the settlement of discharged servicemen, but, as that Act was the Government's policy, it had agreed to extend ils eo-operation to the measure in the interests of the men concerned.
