November G. “American ami Canadian Avar production is, to say the least, spectacular.” declared Mr. L. J. Harnett, ('onimomvealtli Director of Ordnance Production, who litis just returned to Australia after heading- a munitions mission to the United States and Canada. He negotiated important business on behalf of the Federal Government and the Australian armament, industries.
•'There is no doi,ibt about the New World's will to help win the war,” said Mr. Harnett. -‘Their war factories are beginning to.give astonishing results. When this great and growing production, added to the already formidable production of Britain and Russia, can tic moved in big quantities into the field of battle, there will be a striking transformation in the fortunes of the Allied nations. 'The news from Egypt is the first fruit of this great combined Allied effort.”
