His Honour Sir Hubert Ostler has resigned his office as a judge of the Supreme Court as from February 2, 19-13.
Mr. It. E. Price, Wellington, cluiirman of the ‘Waterfront Control Cominifison, is -visiting Auckland. Wing Commander W. L. Hnri’i.spu (Retired List) lias been Tcculled for duty in the General Duties Branch of the Royal New Zealand Air Force with the rank of Squadron Leader. Air Commodore S. F. Vlneeut, D.F.C., A.F.C., R.A.F., has been tippointed Deputy Chief of the Air Staff and member of Hie Air Board He replaces Acting Air Commodore A. de T. Nevill, C.8.E., R.N.Z.A.F.
Dr. Leon Bossiird has been appointed delegate in New Zealand of the Internntional Red Cross Conunittee. He succeeds Dr. J. Morel, who is stationed in Australia and who up to now had represented die committee in Australia and New Zealand
