REFUSED TO PLEAD
fßy Telegraph.— Press Association.» AUCKLAND. November I. Appearing before Mr. Luxford, S.M., on a charge of having failed to serve in the military forces in that he relused to don battledress. Ronald Ernest Johnson, photographer, aged 33, declined to plead, as he stated he iiad not been abli to get in touch with his solicitor. Senior-Sergeant Harley said accused had just been released from W.iikiTia prison, where lie had nerved three months for failing to report. He had stated -lie had no intention of going to camp Accused was the man who had lell New Zealand on the yacht Thehm I was irresfed and brought back. Accused was remanded.
