BOMB EXPLOSIONS
Two Reported In Vichy LONDON, November 3 Two bomb explosions occurred in Vichy early this morning, reports Berlin radio. One, outside, the office of Marshal Petain’s Committee for Social Propaganda, caused insignificant damage. The second, outside the office of the Doriot Party, injured a policeman. A third explosion, outside recruiting offices for workers for Germany, was prevented. Paris radio announced that a special tribunal at Lyons had sentenced 45 Frenchmen to six year’s imprisonment for spreading de Gaullist propaganda. A Vichy news agency report says about 1000, women and children left Dakar today in two ships sailing for France. This is the first repatriation convoy to leave Dakar, and a further evacuation of women and children is planned to take place shortly.
