The British ami American Hags hung side by side in the chapel of a garrison church in England today when Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt attended divine service for American soldiers. Mrs. Roosevelt was in Canterbury on the day of the raid, but not in the city when it took place. Mrs. Roosevelt visited the I hiehess of Kent and saw the infant Prince Michael, her husband’s godson, who was born on American Independence Day. She also visited tlie lieadquartcrs of the British Red Cross and Order of St. Joliii war organization in London, and saw the centre from which 250,000 parcels are sent, each week to prisoners of war.
