LOW-LEVEL BOMBING IN BURMA
(British Official Wireless.) (Received November 1, 7 p.m.) RUGBY, October 31
A joint war communique from tlie India Command states that yesterday a squadron of Royal Air Force bombers carried out an offensive sweep over Burma. In a low-level attack on an aerodrome aircraft were damaged on the ground. A wireless station was maehinegunned and one building was set on fire, enemy personnel being injured. A railway station was damaged. '
