A pleasant afternoon was spent by members of the Stokes A'allcy branch of the League of Mothers at the October meeting. Airs. Whitcher described the recent provincial meeting, and dance items were given by pupils of Aiiss Platt, Lower Hutt. Sprays were presented to Miss Platt and the pianist, and the performers received sweets.
