Annual Display Of Work All phases of the activities of the Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College were demonstrated pt the college yesterday, when the annual display of pupils' work was held. Features of the display were drill in the new “activity” style by groups of boys and girls, and a mannequin parade in which the girls exhibited garments made by them during the year. These included aports, summer, town, afternoon and evening wear, and showed some fine work and design. The mannequin work was supported by orchestral and choral items presented by the college orchestra mid girls' choir. Among the interesting demonstrations of the instructional work in progress was a typewriting class bard at. work. The tapping of the keys was rhythmic, to the accompaniment of gramophone records.
