LAING—On October 28, 1942 at Matamata, Andrew, loved husband of the late Margaret Laing, and dearly loved father of Mrs. Rickard (Wellington), Mrs. Hawke, Mrs. Little (Matamata). Mrs. Bird, Mrs. Sutherland (Hamilton), Mrs. Huston (Melbourne), and Duncan, ■ (Waitara), and the late'Mrs. McGlashan; aged 99 years. MASON—On October 30, 1942, John Lewis, dearly loved younger son of Frank and Mabel Mason, Nlreaha, Eketaliuna; aged 2i years. Private interment. MENTIPLAY.—On October 30, 1942, at the Otaki Hospital, Janet, eldest sister of ■Sydney Mentiplay, 84 Onepu Rd., Lyall 'Bay. After a long illness. REID—On October 30, 1942, at Wanganui, William Henry, beloved husband of Margaret May Reid, of “Marahau,” Nukumaru; in his 84th year. Private interment. SWANN. —On October 28, 1942, at her daughter’s residence, 49 Wellesby Road, Napier, Margaret Wilson, dearly loved wife of the late Charles John Swann and loved mother of' Muriel and Lilian Swann. At Rest.
