WHITE SHORTHORNS
Many cattlemen have - au instinctive aversion tit pure white steers, and it is one that 1 have shared myself. In a recent, issue of the British "Shor!horn Journal,” however, n reviewer mentioned : “Often it is that a breeder's best bull calf turns out to be a white; one recalls Calrossio Control and Mercury in this respect ” and thnn ho mentious one of the best calves of the .season ul. a leading stud ns a white. That in turn reminded me that one of tlie best bjills I saw at the Tupurupiini stud of Miy Dorric Buclitinuu, Mustertc.n, was iu tile spring of j’Oll, n white beast.
