Satisfaction with the amendments recently made to the Fair Rents Amendment Act affecting servicemen and their dependants was expressed by members of the Dominion executive committee of the N.Z.R.S.A. at its meeting held recently. The Dominion president was congratulated op his efforts, which were instrumental in bringing about the amendments to the Bill and which were prepared and presented at short notice. ’The co-operation of the Christchurch branch of the association was also of great value in supplying specific cases of hardship suffered by members of the forces.
