MEETING IN LONDON

Commonwealth Supply Council (British Official Wireless.). RUGBY, October 28. The first meeting took place today o the Commonwealth Supply Count, which has been established to meet the need for co-ordinating arrangements for su-pplv throughout the Empire. The Minister of Production, Mr. Byttelton, is chairman of the council, winch also includes the Secretaries of -State ror the Dominions, the Colonies and Lndia. the President of the Board- of Trade and the (Minister of Works. New Zealand, Australia and South Africa are represented by their High Commissioners. Because of her special position m relation to North American production, Canada will not take direct action in the work of the council, but will keep in touch with its proceedings.
