Mr. Churchill Replies To Hindus (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 28. Mr. Churchill has replied to a message sent to him by the Hindu Mahasabha, through its president, Mr. D. Savarkar, stating that he appreciates tlio endeavours made by the Mahasabha -to promote unity among the various elements in India. Mr. Churchill added: “These have not resulted . in specific or concrete proposals enjoying the support of all the major parties in India.” . To Mr. Churchill, Mr. Savarkar asked for the establishment of a national Government for India, and claimed that the Hindu Mahasabha’s resolution had the support of the main parties.
