COMPLIMENTARY DINNER
In a recent report of a comiflimentary dinner fit Pahiatua to Mr. and Mrs. T. F C. Klliott, the parents of Sergeant Keith Elliott. V.C., it was inadvertently stated that the toast of the V.C. winner was proposed by Sir Alfred Ransom. The toast was actually proposed by Air. J. Robertson. M.P. for the district tn which Mr. and Mrs. Elliott reside. Ttdegrams of congratulation were received by Mr. and Mrs. Elliott from the Prime Minister, Mr. Eraser, and the Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones.
