REPORTED OCCUPIED BY NAZIS
Norwegian Railway Line (Received October 28, 7 p.m.) LONDON, October 27. ■ The 'Stockholm newspaper “Social Democraten” reported that German troops have occupied the whole of the railway line from Oslo to the Swedish frontier. A Stockholm message says that Gestapo officials are investigating the death of Major Quisling’s Propaganda Minister, Dr. Gulbrand Lunde, who was drowned when a car drove off the end of a ferry quay. Dr. Lunde is reported to have been driving on to the ferry, which suddenly moved away from the quay without warning. The ferry crew were Germans, except for a Norwegian mechanic who dived in vainly in an attempt to extricate Dr. Lunde and his wife.
