NUMERICAL ODDS

Still Against Stalingrad LONDON, October 28. The enemy is still using large forces of tanks and infantry in the Stalingrad area, says the latest Soviet communique. Outside Stalingrad in the north-west the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to recapture the large village which was occupied several days ago.
