WAIPAWA AIRMAN IN FILM

McHardy, D.F.C. and bar, Waipawa, takes an unseen part in the latest film “Coastal Command.” He flies a Junkers 88 which is shot down when attacking Sunderiands. McHardy came to London to see the film, which tells the . story of how the Coastal Command protects convoys from attacks by raiders, in co-operation with the Royal Navy.
