TEN DAYS LEFT

Frenchmen For Reich LONDON, October IS. Vichy France now has 10 days left to meet the Nazi ultimatum that 150,000 skilled French workers must be found, for German war factories. Both Vichy radio and Paris radio have been working at full pressure to get Frenchmen to offer their services. It has been hinted that as a reward for their collaboration the Germans will offer France "an important concession.” Though the Vichy authorities still say that the whole question remains on a voluntary basis, all Frenchmen between 18 and 50 were called upon today to register for “national service.” Paris radio today said bluntly that if the required number of workers refused e to go. to Germany they would be made to go anyway, and Vichy would use its prerogative under the armistice terms.
