AMERICAN POTATOES
A request for information as to the cost to the Government of the potatoes imported from America was contained in notice of a question given by Mr. Goosman (Opposition, Waikato) to the Minister of Marketing, Mr. Barclay. In a note to his question Mr. Goosman said that American potatoes were for sale in his district at (id. a lb„ aud New Zealand i>otatoes at 2Jd. a lb. in the same shop.
