St. John's Church hall, AX ellington. will be the scene of some interesting reunions at Labour weekend, the occasion being .the golden jubilee of the young women s Bible class, which was begun iu 18J- undei. the leadership of Air. John Boat P eciiu . pc of war and travel restrictions, the emcbralions will be greatly curtailed, but t is expected that past members will be eager to unite for the occasion. Ito eeedings will be opened on Saturday night, October 24, with a social gatbcri ta at. 7.45 in the Dixon Street hall, futures of t'he evening will be a roll call in decades, greetings and lhe n^ ut^'’ (lu °y the fiftieth birthday cake. On Sunday afternoon, October 25. the Tegular Bibk class, conducted by former leaders and attended by past and present inembeis, will be held at 2.4i> p.m. in the old classroom. Ale Donald Crescent, followed by a buffet tea and a special thauks„itin ß service in the church at i o clock.
