In accordance with an agreement. tietween the British. and Soviet Governments, 10,000 Polish non-com-batants who took refuge in Siberia in 1939 will be jiermlttecl to reside in Uganda for the duration of the war. Fifteen hundred have already arrived. A contingent of the Polish women’s auxiliary service, which has, arrived in Scotland from Russia, will form the nucleus of a Polish auxiliary transport service in Britain.
