He is also sire of Talenta (Ashhurst Cup), and his stock won eleven races and were placed thirty-five times in N.Z. last season. FAIRWAY, the sire of Tidorace*, won the St. Leger, Jockey Club Cup (2-J- miles). Princess of Wales Stakes, Eclipse Stakes, and £42,722. He was leading Sire of England in 1936 and 1939. His progeny include Blue Peter (2000 Gns., Derby, Eclipse Stakes, |939, etc., and was unbeaten Three-year-old winner of £31,694), Wptling Street (Derby, 194 Z, etc) Pay Up (2000 Gns.), Tideway (1000 Gns.), and Fair Trial (Leading English sire or two-year-olds. 1940, with his first crop). Fairway is brother to Pharos, leading sire of England 1931, and France 1939. PANIC, the dam of Tiderace#, is by unbeaten Hurry On, leading English sire 1926, anol she has produced eight winners of £19,857. She is on own sister to Cyclonic, winner of the Jockey Club Stakes, 21 miles, etc., and £10,402. , . . ...
