A price order gazetted ou I' rlday, however has brought tho price of new potadown to 38/« a cwt. or £3B a ton for lots of half a ton or more, against tho celling price of 45/0 a cwt which ruled nst week. Cabbages are still bringing up to 10/6 a Chapman hag and cauliflowers 19/- a chapman bag, while carrots and parsnips remain at 21/- a cwt. Swedes have moved up 2/- a cwt. since last Monday being now 12/-. Cabbage plants remain at 14/- a thousand and onion plants at 9/- a thousand.
