Wellington Hospital Club
Dr. J. Cairney presided at the eighth annual meeting of the AVellington llo.s-. pital Cambined Services Tennis Club recently. In moving the adoption of the annual report, Dr. Cairney said that the past season had been a most successful one. and Hint the balance-sheet showed the club’s finances to be in a very healthy state.
Tlie club’s playing strength has suffered considerably by the calling up of nlnyers for the armed forces ami Army Nursing Service,' but notwithstanding this it was agreed that, the club should endeavour to carry on as usual. Two teams will be entered in the interelub competitions this season.
