PREMIER OF SIND
Relieved Of Office By Governor (Received October 11,11.15 p.m.) KARACHI, October 10. The Premier of Sind, Mr. Allah Baksh has been relieved of his office by the Governor of Sind. Three members of the Sind Council of Ministers resigned following Mr. Baksh’s dismissal.
The Governor suggested that • Mr. Baksh should resign, but the Premier refused. The Governor in a statement said he had discussions with Mr. Baksh regarding the Premier’s renunciation of British honours, after which he had no option but to inform Mr. Baksh that he no longer possed the Governor's confidence and therefore could not continue in office.
It is believed that a coalition government will be formed under Sir Ghulam Hussein Hidayatullab, who was Premier of Sind in 1937.
