Chemist’s Discovery Of Architecture (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received October 11, 9 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 10. The “New York Tinies” says that. Professor Vincent Duvigneiiud, of Cornell University Medical College, has announced the discovery of the chemi-, cal architecture of biotin, Nature’s most powerful vitamin, at a meeting of the New York section of the American Chemical Society. The discovery is hailed as a great triumph of modern chemistry and certain to lead to many important new developments. it is regarded as a particular triumph for American chemists, since many of Europe’s leading chemists have also been trying solve oue of Nature’s greatest, mysteries. The discovery is expected to pave the way for .synthesis of supervltamin, so difficult to obtain in pure form that it sells at the rate of 4,000,000 dollars an ounce, making it the world’s most precious substance.
