SOCCER CHAMPIONS
Hospital Win Wellington Competition
The Association football season in Wellington ended on Saturday with the last games for the championships. Hospital are the winners of the first division, having clinched their hold on their position at the head of the table by defeating on Saturday Railways, a team well down the table. Comrades are the runners-up, having beaten Moera Stop Out. on Satyrday for second place. A Wellington. Air Force team beat an Air Force team from the South Island, and in a curtain raiser to the Hospital-Railways game at the Basin Reserve a teain representing Wellington secondary schools beat a team representing Hutt Valley secondary schools. The teams in the first division ehampionship finished with points as follows: ■—First A Division: Hospital 22, Comrades 21, Moera Stop Out 19, Waterside 16, Marist 14, Technical Old Boys. 10, Railways 9, Army A 9. First B Division: Petone 14, Air Force B 12, Boys Institute 10, Army B 4, Air Force A b, E.F.S.
