FLEW TO ENGLAND

The Secretary of the New Zealand Air Department, Mr. T. A. Barrow’, has arrived at London and will have conferences with Air Ministry officials regarding the Empire air training scheme. He will also visit the New Zealand bomber and fighter squadrons and aerodromes where New Zealanders' are stationed.

Mr. Barrow flew from New Zealand to America. He met Mr. Walter Nash in Washington and Mr. Langstone in Ottawa, and also visited the Canadian air training station, where he pinned on the wings of 47 graduates, including 22 New Zealanders. Then be flew on to England. Mr. Barrow is spending the weekend with. Group Captain E. Olson, who now commands a bomber station.
