EVACUATED CHILDREN
Not Being Brought Home
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 4.
The Children’s Overseas Reception Board states that there is no truth in the recent statements that British children sent to the Dominions or the United States by the board or by the American Committee for the Evacuation of European Children are being brought back to Britain. The onlv children whose return from Canada and South Africa is officially encouraged are those due to register for military and national service unless they are already enrolled in the Dominions.
