NO GERMAN TROOPS YET IN DAKAR
(Received September 4, 11.55 p.m.) WASHINGTON, September 3. . The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” says that, according to official information, no German troops are at present in Dakar. Diplomatic Circles express the opinion that Hitler is endeavouring to send troops there, but they doubt if Vichy will consent.
