Receipts, including a credit balance at the beginning of the year of £10,358, totalled £42,184.. General rates amounted to £17,479, refunds and reimbursements to £8309, fees, licences, permits, tines, registrations, Government subsidy and miscellaneous to £5258, rents to £9O. parks to £405. sales to £284. ’ ’ . Assets are shown at £256,857. Public debt totals £333,648, less accrued sinking fund £19,242. Borough rates totalled 5/9 in £l, and levies 1.874 d. in £l. The unimproved value of the borough is £1.357,025 and the value of improvements £2.876,671. Rateable properties total 4102 and the number of ratepayers 3204.
