Appointments In Senior Ranks PROMOTIONS GAZETTED The following appointments and promotions of officers of the New Zealand ■Military Forces were gazetted this week: — Staff. Lieut.-Colonel (temp. Brigadier) F. L. Hunt, 2nd N.Z.E.F., relinquishes the temporary rank of Brigadier, and is appointed General Staff Officer, Ist Grade (Training), Army Headquarters. Major T. C. V. Unbone, 2nd A.Z.8.F., Commander of Engineers, Central Milltary District, is granted the temporary rank of Lieut.-Colonel while so employed. Major J. D. Armstrong, 2nd N.Z.E.F., is appointed to the Directing Staff, N.Z. Staff College, and is granted the acting rank of Lieut.-Colonel while so employed. Captain T. A. Turner, 2nd N.Z.E.F., Artillery Brigade Major in a North Island division, is granted the temporary rank of Major while so employed. Territorial Army. Manawatu Mounted . Rifles. —Captain (temp.) S. C.
