(Received September 3, 7 p.m.) LONDON, September 2. The National Executive of the Labour Party has circulate- 5 the affiliated organizations, warning them against the Communist’ Party’s subversive activities under the cloak of friendship for Russia. 'l'he circular recalls that the Labour Party conference at Whitsun, by 1,899,009 votes to 132,000 rejected proposed cooperation with the Communist Party, and adds, “The fact must not be lost sight of that the Communist Party is supporting the war effort not because Britain is or has been iu danger or because freedom and democracy are at stake, but solely on account of Russia. “Labour Party members must not be led astray by the expensive propaganda of a very small political organization, which mysteriously commands very large funds. They must remember that many nations are fighting ou Britain’s side, some of which have as great claims upon our generosity as Russia.”
