The somewhat urgent need of the Kilbirnie EKS. for a fully-equipped and up-to-date first-aid post measuring up to the requirements of the district has engaged the attention, of the personnel for some time. Plans have been approved for a structure which will meet the position and a campaign is afoot to collect the necessary funds. Already much has been achieved', and further to assist the collection a fair has been arranged for next Saturday afternoon on the Kilbirnie Keeerve. Many varied attractions have been organized, and all Kilbirnie is invited to be present. E.P.S. personnel are notified that through unforeseen circuinstances the inarching parade will not take place.
