Don Mullett To Meet Danny O’Keefe Since the. Wellington Town Hall was closed because of earthquake damage, the Boxing Association has made unavailing efforts to secure a theatre in which to stage the heavyweight match between Don. Mullett, of Wellington, and Danny O Keefe, an overseas serviceman. The management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union last night, however, solved the problem by agreeing to allow the match to bo staged at Athletic Park on the first Saturday afternoon after the close of the Rugby prointerest has been taken in the meeting of these two heavyweights, and it will not be at all surprising to see them draw as big an attendance as was attracted by the famous battles between Tommy Donovan and, Pete Sarron several years back. 1 , „ Mr, J. N. Millard, chairman of the management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union, was empowered to arrange with the boxing association the rent to ba paid the uiiion for the use of Athletic Park.
