Chinese Storming Into Nanchang MILLIONS SUFFER IN TERRIBLE FLOOD (By Telegraph.—Press Assu.—Copyright.) CHUNGKING,' August 30. The Chinese High Command announced that Chinese legions are storming the suburbs of Nanchang, the main Japanese base in the Kiangsi Province. The most disastrous flood for a century has inundated 60,000 square miles of China. Twenty-one towns in Japanese-held northern Anhwei Province are flooded and 3000 houses have collapsed. The
floods are severely crippling Japanesecontrolled rail traffic to 'Tientsin. Millions of Chinese are homeless and many are dying of starvation and disease.
