Sir John Dill Now A Field-Marshal

General Brooke, Chief of the Imperial General Staff, who accompanied Mr. Churchill on his visjt to Moscow, was received in audience by the King today. Other visitors were Sir John Dill (a member of the Joint Chief of Staffs Committee), to whom the King presented a field-marshal’s baton, and whom he invested'with the G.C.8., and Mr. F. Sturrock, South African Minister of Railways.
