NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it in the intention of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board-to Introduce in the present session of Parliament tiie Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Empowering and Amendment Bill. TIIE OBJECTS that the said Bill is intended to effect’ are: (1) To authorise the Board to raise a Joan of Twenty-two thousand live hundred pounds for the purpose of repaying an existing overdraft and •without taking the steps prescribed by Sections 9 to 13 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926. (2) To Increase the amount, of the honorarium which may be paid to the Chairman of the Board from £5O to £lOO per annum.
