RELIGIOUS NOTlCES—(Continued). SERVICE OF INTERCESSION NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, Appointed b.v Bis Majesty the King, YVi’l be Held, God Willing, on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 1942, In the Committee Room of the DOMINION FARMERS’ INSTITUTE (First Floor), From 3 to 4 p.m. REV. O. HEDLEY BYCROFT WILL SPEAK. Convenor. David O. McClay. Christian Men and Women Heartily Welcomed. BIBLE TRUTH "DO YE NOT KNOW TITAT THE SAINTS SHALL JUDGE THE WORLD?" (Paul—l Cor. 8:2). Those who do "not know that the Saints shall judge the World” are ignorant of what the Holy Scriptures teach. It ‘is not God’s intention to leave the World always in the hands of mortal fallible men with limited power and capacity. YVben Jesus Christ returns to the earth "with power and great glory” the World will be taken over by Him and He will be supreme ruler for 1000 years—the Millennium. (Acts 1:11, Acts 3:19-21, Luke 21:27, Hebs. 1:2, Psa. 2:8, Psa. 72:8. Dan. 7:14, Zech. 9:10, Zech. 14:9, Acts 17:31, Phil. 2:9-11, Rev. 19:15), The Scriptures clearly teach that the saints (i.e., those who belleye God’s promises and obey His commands) will be HU co-rulers during that period (Rev. 20:6, Rev. 5:9-10, Rev. 2:26-27, 2 Tim. 2:12, Matt. 19:28). With the exception of the few who “are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord” the majority of tho saints are now "dead in Christ” "sleeping In the dust of the earth.” Christ, however, has revealed that He possesses “tho keys of the grave and of death” and has promised that He will, at His coming, liberate His dead salats from “the Pit Of corruption,” i.e., they will be resurrected from among the dead (Rev. 1:18, Matt. 16: 18, Dan. 12:2, 1 Cor. 15:12-18, 1 Theas. 4: 16, Rev. 20:6), After resurrection and judgment Christ’s accepted saints will be immortalised, i.e., they will become possessed of an immortal physical body (Rev. 11:18, 2 Cor. 5:10, 1 Cor. 15:51-54, Phil. 3:21, 1 John 3 :2, Luke 20:35-36), They will then assist Christ to establish the universal Kingdom of God upon cartp over which as Christ’s co-rulers they will reign for one thousand years (Rev. 14:1, Rev. 17:14, Dan. 2:44, Rev. 11:15; Matt. 6:10, Dan. 7:14, 18, 22, 27). Thus in the purpose of God the Saints are destined to’ “judge the World" as a result of which suffering humanity will be delivered from every evil now’ occurrent, “the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord" and “all families of the earth shall be blpssed" (Numbs. 14:21, Gen. 12:3, Gen. 22:18, Gals. 3:16, Psa. 72, Isa. ehap 2, . Isa. chap. 11, etc.). Reader, you cannot be saved unless you believe the truth taught in the Bible. For a thorough exposition of Bible truth you should read the book “CHRISTENDOM ASTRAY.” A eopy will be sent free on application to BIBLE TRUTH, Box 71, Wellington. RURAL LAND FOR SALE.
