A Maori volunteer with 12 children was appealed for at a sitting of the Armed Forces Appeal Board in Hamilton, by a contractor who employed him as a tractor driver on defence work. “We do not want to send him to camp,” said a member of the board, and the appeal was adjourned sine die.
