By winning all its three matches, the Hutt Valley team won the annual primary school Rugby tournament between representative teams from Horowheiiua, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa and Wellington. The concluding games of the tournament were played under the most wretched conditions ou the Hutt Recreation Ground yesterday, when Hutt Vailey beat Horowheiiua and Wellington drew with Wairarapa. The first game, between _ Wellington and Wairarapa, developed into a hard forward struggle. Toward the end of tire first spell Mason scored an unconverted trv for Wellington, mid in the second spell Matthews scored for Wairarapa. flic game finishing without either side gaining the advantage. In the filial game of the tournament Ilntt A alley met Horowlietitia in a miserable drizzle In tlie first spell Alcl’lnre, bu and Smith scored tries for Hutt Valley, none of them being converted. Neither side was able f<> score after the ehttnge-over, and the game ended in n 9-0 victory for Hutt Valley.
