Topweights In the Epsom Handicap, of £2OOO, one mile (to be run on October 3), are:— Auction. 10.12; Mildura, 9.8; Rimveil, 9.8; Yaralla, 9.6; Gold Salute, 9.3; Evergreen, 9.1; Katanga, 9.0; Reception, 9.0; Winnipeg, 8.13; Ensign, 8.12; Klngsdale, 8.12; Veiled Threat. 8.11; Dewar, 8.8; St. Constant, 8.7. Auction Is a Brisbane horse who won practically all his races on the small saucer sand. track in that city. He beat Gold Salute in the Doomben Newmarket in Brisbane recently, but he has never been tried on a course with long stretches. However, the handicapper has apparently treated him to the face value of his form.
