Hitler has appointed Dr, Thierack president of tho People's Court and Minister of Justice, and also president of the Academy for German Law, and head ot tho National Socialist Law Protection Announcing this item, Berlin radio said that Hitler, by decree, had extended to Dr. Thierack special powers, tor "powerful administration of the law’ and had also dissolved the Reich Law Office of the Workers’ Party. Hitler authorized Dr. Thierack “to build up, in accordance with mv directions, the National Socialist system for tlie administration of justice and adopt all measures appertaining thereto. Dr. Theirack may, in so doing, deviate from existing laws.”
