ROTARY CONVENTION
Wellington Gathering
A Botary convention is to be held in Wellington this evening and tomorrow. It has been found advisable to hold two conferences this year instead of one, because of the difficulties of transport, and the time it would take some delegates ro reach Wellington from the far south. This year the convention covering the South'island clubs was held at Timaru last Wednesday. It was attended by the District Governor, Mr. F. G. Hall-Jones, who stated yesterday that, including certain members of the Timaru club, there were 2S delegates present, and some really good work was done, including, defining more specifically the duties of vice-presi-dents of clubs, and the responsibility attaching to that oilice. The convention to be held in Wellington this evening and tomorrow, will be attended by the presidents, vice-presi-dents, and secretaries of all clubs in the North Island, and also those of Blenheim and Nelson.
